Snacks: Obviously Nachos and The Milano

I often think about what I would want my last meal to be. As morbid as it sounds it’s a great game, so don’t judge me. To me, watching the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! show with a Milano slushy in one hand and an Obviously Nachos in the other is the best way to go. Not only are those my favorite snacks in California Adventure (over the Num Num Cookie keep that in mind), but that’s my favorite show Disney has ever offered. I never do audience participation, but you better believe I’m dancing with Star Lord at least once per Disneyland trip! These snacks were introduced during the Summer of Heroes event in 2017, and luckily enough they stayed on the menu at Studio Catering Co. (by Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!) ever since. I even remade the nachos and slushy last summer at home because I have no self restraint.

The Milano and Obviously Nachos

Behold! The best combo since peanut butter and jelly! The nachos are blue corn tortilla chips with cheese sauce, mojo chicken (a citrus spice blend), chipotle crèma, and green onions. They are a tad spicy, so if you’re not into spice maybe stick with the slushy. The slushy is very interesting. It’s an orange slushy with blue cream topped with whipped cream, so it’s kind of like a creamsicle. The orange and blue represent Star Lord’s ship, the Milano, so it’s well themed! The cream gets cold and really comes through with the orange. It’s the perfect partner to the spicy nachos. Come and get your love? I think Redbone meant come and get these nachos!
